Please correct me if I'm wrong on the following statement as I'm not too familiar with this "scandal" I honestly don't get why everyone is bashing Olivia for this. As stated, she said she never cared about school. This means a lot. Sure, she took the spot of someone working hard to get into USC. However, as she doesn't care about school, it's pretty obvious she was forced into attending this college. If anything, the person you should be mad at is her mother. I know she flipped off specific media outlets, however, what would you do in that situation? She was getting threatened and mistreated over the internet. Sure, she could've apologized. However, would you have accepted the apology? We've seen it with Laura Lee and James Charles. They apologized yet continued to receive mass amounts of hate. In my opinion, we should just move on and let the court deal with her parents. Side note: USC chose to accept the money knowing very well it is illegal and they are receiving no hate whatsoever. They could have easily turned it down, but it is their decision to let whoever they'd like into the school although there is an entrance exam.
